Service Regulations & Guidelines

At Remonto.in, we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for both our customers and our service partners. These regulations outline the code of conduct expected from all users.

1. Zero Tolerance Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior. Any user found using abusive language, threatening a service partner, or engaging in inappropriate conduct will be permanently banned from the platform, and legal action may be initiated under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

2. Safety Protocols

To ensure a smooth service experience, customers are requested to:

  • Secure any pets/dogs before the service partner enters the premises.
  • Ensure a safe working environment (e.g., proper lighting, no hazardous materials nearby).
  • Not ask the service partner to perform tasks that are dangerous or illegal.
  • Verify the identity of the service partner through the Remonto confirmation message before allowing entry.

3. Direct Booking Prohibition (Off-Platform Transactions)

Users are strictly prohibited from soliciting service partners to perform jobs outside the Remonto.in platform ("Side-match"). Booking directly with the technician bypasses our security protocols and warranty coverage. Remonto.in will not be responsible for any theft, damage, or poor workmanship if the service was not booked officially through our app/website.

4. Tool & Material Usage

Our partners carry standard tools. However, consumable materials (wires, switches, gas, spare parts) are chargeable. Customers can either provide the materials themselves or authorize the partner to purchase them. In case of partner procurement, the actual bill must be produced.

5. Quality Assurance & Re-work

If you are unsatisfied with the service, you must report it within 24 hours. Our "Satisfaction Guarantee" covers re-work for the same issue within 7 days. Tampering with the repaired appliance by a third party voids this warranty immediately.
